O, crap...

I'm writing a journal :O

Fri Aug 7, 2009, 4:56 PM
  • Mood: b0x0rz-less
  • Listening to: Red Hot Chilli Peppers
  • Reading: WorldWar: In The Balance
  • Watching: Transformers, haha
  • Playing: City of Villians
  • Drinking: Water
I looked back and saw that I haven't updated this in over a year...yeah so I decided now was a good time and I do have a bit to say:D For starters, I saw that second transformers movie when it was in theaters, twice. And it took me to see it twice to motivate me to final get the first movie which I hadn't actually seen since the first one was in theaters. I knew that I liked the first one better but wow, I had totally forgotten how much more I liked it. It's such a good movie, I've watched at least 8 times since I bought it. Anyway my favorite character was Jazz and it totally sucks that he dies but I looked into it online and read that the reason that they picked Jazz to die was because they figured Jazz would be the next favorite character for most people after Optimus and Bumblebee. And ya know, they couldn't kill one of those two and I mean it makes since. If you want to have an emotional impact on your audience it defeats the purpose if it's the character who no one really likes. Still Jazz was awesome so it still sucks XD

Oh! I finally got a tattoo!! It turned out great, it's a solid black dragon that wraps around my right arm. I wasn't sure if I should post any pics of it on here though because technically it's not my art, it's the tattoo artist who did it, ya know? Cliff was the name of the guy who did it and he was really cool to.

I've also found a website full of very, very good comics that if you've gotten this far into this journal you should check it out at this link: [link]
The first one I found there is called Everafter, and it's just amazing in my opinion. I was addicted to it instantly basically, written and I think drawn by [link] You can go and take a look at his gallery, check out everafter. I just love the characters and the idea of it all. It's pretty violent to. Also if you check out that comic website there is a Powerpuff Girls comic and it's actually about more then just the powerpuff girls, it's basically all of these old cartoons that I used to watch like Dexter, Samurai Jack, and Courage the Cowardly Dog! I love it, and the story is very good. It's a lot darker then the old shows I watched but it keeps it interesting. Grim Tales from Down Below is also a good one made by the same person who made the Powerpuff Girls one. That's one that is more based around the Billy and Mandy show, another old show I watched but not as much as some others. it also has characters from Nightmare Before Christmas, Spawn is in it, it's also very good. Defiantly worth checking out!

1. What's your character's name? Why did you choose that name?
Renegade; He is from this race of robots called Mecas and his clan was the only one that decided that the Mecas should exterminate all organic races. Renegade is the only one left of his clan, so it's what the other Mecas have labeled him.

2. Lahvely. What is their role in the story? Hero? Antagonist? Comic relief?
Hero I suppose, he shows up because one of the evil Mecas retreats to earth where he finishes him off. He found by Precinct 113 and eventually the other Mecas come up as well, and Renegade is the only one who has a chance of stopping the strongest one.

3. Give three or more facts about their physical appearance, eg eye color, hair color, height, whether they're attractive or not if you're superficial.
He's very tall, about seven feet and he does have a face like a person but it's robotic and has a lot of cuts from battle, giving him an older appearance. His body is armored and I guess he wouldn't really be considered attractive or anything, unless your into that kind of thing XD

4. Are they afraid of anything? Why?
He's afraid that he'll die before he completes his mission of killing the evil mecas and then there won't be anything to stop them. He underestimates organic races but he actually gets a lot of help from the members of Precinct 113.

5. What's their goal, either in life or in the story? Is it to win the heart of the fair damsel, or to vanquish the villain?
Vanquishing the villain I suppose, haha. I guess I just said that, but he also wants a chance to rest once it's all over because he's been fighting for a long time.

6. Give me four facts about their personality that only the author would know. Favourite food? Place of birth? Favourite childhood toy? Anything goes.
Umm, he's still pretty fresh so I don't have a whole lot about him. Actually, I guess he doesn't like oil from earth at all. Other planets yes, but ours just doesn't do it for him.

7. How do they speak? Dialect? Accent? Use of ridiculously long words?
He has his own language which is impossible for humans to comprehend but before he's found he's able to study English enough from watching people but he still has trouble. He doesn't say words like doesn't he would say; He does not say words, ya know.

8. What's their family like? How does their family influence them?
His family was the only clan to fight against the other Mecas and now they are all dead. They are his drive now, he doesn't want their deaths to be in vain.

9. How do they dress? Why, eg to stand out from the crowd, because that's what everyone wears?
He's armored but they get him a very big overcoat to wear and hat to wear in public but it doesn't help all that much in hiding him plus the other Mecas can see right through the cloths.

10. What makes them laugh?
He doesn't really laugh, although from time to time you can get him to chuckle or grin.

11. What makes them cry?
His body doesn't actually make tears but it always makes him sad when he talks about his
family and everything that has happened to them.

12. If you were to meet them, how would you react? Would you get along? Why?
'HOLY CRAP A GIANT ROBOT!'....'Yes, that is right. You did create me, why does it surprise you so?'....'HOLY CRAP A GIANT ROBOT!'....*sigh
We'd eventually go out and get ice cream at the mall:3

13. How do others react to them? How are they linked to other characters in your story?
People are naturally afraid of him, I mean he is a giant robot, as I said before. I decided to put him into the Precinct 113 story because most of the people in the precinct also stand out in the general crowd, and he finds that he has something in common with them. When he's in the general public with them he doesn't feel so out of place.

14. What are their strengths?
His clan was actually the strongest, with the best weapons and armor but they were outmatched. He also has a lot more drive then the other Mecas do.

15. Weaknesses?
He's tired of fighting and just wants it to be over. He has also been through so many battles that he has naturally become weaker over time.

16. What influences/affects them the most? Is it a past experience, a friend, a foe?
Having all of his family killed over the war he now wages alone. That is the main thing however when he becomes friends with the members of the Precinct they also add to his motivation.

17. Imagine that this character were to die. Who would miss them the most? Would anyone be pleased?
The members of Precinct 113 would miss him and the evil Mecas would be very pleased to kill Renegade.

18. If this character were stranded on an island, which 3 things would they take?
His navigation system.
Oil from the old Inteligions planet.
Grey's MP3 player.

19. What do they like most about themselves? Do others agree?
He likes that he had the will not to join the evil Mecas which was offered to him by after his last family member died, his father. The members of Precinct 113 do like that.

20. Dislike most about themselves? Do others agree?
That he wasn't able to do anything to save his clan, but no one else blames him for that.

Alright, I made up Renegade during my Transformers craze. I still like him though and I don't think he's a complete rip off of Transformers...kind of...SHUT UP!
:P haha, thanks for reading:]

No prob, I love the concept:] If you like teen titans I know that there was another version of the comics coming out called Titans. I used to live by a comic store so I was able to get the first one plus one that was like a teaser leading to it. Sadly I moved away from it but it was cool because they were all older and had to team up again, good stuff! This reminds me of that:)
